8:00 am – Depart for My Tho
At 8:00 a.m., take a 1.5-hour bus ride to My Tho from Ho Chi Minh City, with a stop to visit the largest pagoda of Tien Giang Province – Vinh Trang Pagoda. Combining Chinese, Vietnamese and Angkor architectural styles, the beautiful pagoda consists of five buildings, 178 columns, and two ornamental courtyards.

After the visit, continue our trip to My Tho, a beautiful town rich in many kinds of fruit, such as Ginseng Fruit and Avocado. Upon arrival, take a motorboat cruise along the Mekong River to visit four small islands named Dragon Island, Phoenix Island, Turtle Island, and Unicorn Island, and admire floating wooden houses along the way. Stop on an island and walk into a local village to visit their orchards, taste fresh fruit, and listen to traditional Vietnamese music. Take a guided tour of their bee house and sample honey tea and honey wine.
Afterwards, the motorboat will take you to Ben Tre, where you will explore a coconut candy factory and taste the sweet candy. Paddle along a channel lined with coconut trees in a small rowboat controlled by a local woman. Dock at the shore, ride a horse cart along the country roads, and make a stop at a restaurant for an authentic Vietnamese lunch.

15:30 – Return to the larger boat cruise back to My Tho
17:30 – Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City
