  1. Welcome to our 14 days classic Vietnam tour. When you land at Hanoi airport, a local driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, have a simple exploration of some major attractions in the city center, including the Opera House, Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple.

    In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with authentic Vietnamese cuisine at one of the best restaurants in Hanoi.

  2. Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is an ancient city rich in historical relics, and today you will be taken on an in-depth discovery of the city's past glory.

    Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum will be your first stop, then head to Ho Chi Minh's Stilt House and the nearby One Pillar Pagoda. After that, your guide will lead you to the Presidential Palace, Temple of Literature, Quan Thanh Temple, and Tran Quoc Pagoda & West Lake, to tell you the legendary stories behind these buildings. The last destination is the History Museum or the Ethnology Museum. (It's up to you)

    In the evening, you will enjoy a wonderful Water Puppet Show, which is the most distinctive traditional folk stage show in Vietnam. Then take the night train to Lao Cai.

  3. In the early morning, your guide and driver will meet you at the train station and drive you 40 km to Sapa - "a retreat away from the world". Check in for breakfast and rest.

    Your guide will then lead you on a 2-hour hiking adventure through vast terraced fields and visit the villages of Cat Cat and Sin Chai, where you would meet enthusiastic local ethnic minority people who will share their customs with you.

    You can be free for the rest of the time to explore the town at your own pace.

  4. After breakfast, we are going on a one-day Sapa hike. Breathe in the fresh air on a guided hike through a beautiful valley dotted with terraced fields and lovely villages.

    Here are 3 hiking trails for your reference: a 3-km short hike, a 6-km medium hike, and a 12-km long hike. You can choose freely according to your physical condition. During the hike, you have the opportunity to chat with friendly locals and learn more about interesting ethnic cultures.

    Late afternoon, drive back to Lao Cai and catch the night train back to Hanoi.

  5. Upon your early morning arrival in Hanoi, your guide will pick you up at the train station for breakfast at a local restaurant. Then drive 2.5 hours to the pier to embark on a cruise to Halong Bay, which is a World Heritage Site with an incredible natural landscape.

    At noon, delicious fresh seafood will be served for your lunch. Cruising on Halong Bay, you will feast your eye on the endless emerald sea with oddly-shaped limestone peaks that are scattered with lush bushes and trees. Enjoy sun-lit voyages on shimmering seas to explore mysterious islets (Dinh Huong & Ga Choi) and one of Halong Bay's 3 largest caves (Sung Sot, Thien Cung, or Dau Go). Make a stop at an islet and enjoy a good time on its white-sand beaches and nearby.

    We will arrange for you to spend a wonderful evening on a junk boat.


    If you book a night cruise from Tuan Chau Habour, you can choose to experience a 25-minute scenic flight on the seaplane at the most beautiful time of the day.

    Note: This Halong Bay itinerary is just a sample, and the success of the activities depends on the weather. Besides, you can choose different classes of cruise ships with different comfort.

  6. Get up early to take photos of the amazing sunrise over the sea from the top deck and learn how to practice Tai Chi. After a cup of coffee or tea, explore the nearby islands in a rowboat. Then return to the junk boat for breakfast and enjoy the astonishing rock formations of Bai Tu Long Bay. Your Halong Bay cruise comes to an end after a bumper brunch.

    Your private driver has already waiting for you at the dock and then will escort you to the airport for the flight to Hue. After arrival, a local driver will meet you and transfer you to the hotel.


    If you are interested, you can take the world's largest aerial cable car across Halong Bay. Our driver can take you to the Nu Hoang Cable Car Station, where you may stay for a few hours. After that, you will be transferred directly to Hanoi Airport for a flight to Hue to continue your journey.

  7. Hue, located in central Vietnam, served as the ancient capital of Vietnam for three dynasties and is known for its historic sites.

    We will spend the whole day visiting this charming old city. The first stop is Imperial City, a scaled-down version of Beijing's Forbidden City that looks rather grand.

    After lunch, continue your tour to the Imperial Museum, Tu Hieu Pagoda, and Dong Ba Market - Hue's shopping paradise, selling everything from souvenirs to bronze wares to desserts.

  8. Take a private boat along the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda and Minh Mang Tomb. We suggest you have lunch at a riverside restaurant and then the driver will transfer you to Hoi An.

    En route, we stop at crescent-shaped Lang Co Bay, where you could relax on the crystal clear beach. After that, pass over Hai Van Pass and arrive at Da Nang, visiting the Cham Museum and handicraft villages at the foot of Marble Mountain. We will arrive in Hoi An in the evening. After checking into the hotel, you are free to explore the town illuminated by lanterns of all colors and shapes.

  9. After breakfast, take a leisurely bike ride to a local farm for some fresh air. Sample the local specialty tea and take a break. Change into authentic Vietnamese traditional farming clothes and try your hand at growing rice under the guidance of local farmers.

    Enjoy a good lunch after "work". Take a walk to visit Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Hall, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, and the Old House of Tan Ky (the oldest & most beautiful old house in Hoi An). Return to the hotel in the late afternoon, and the rest of the day is yours at leisure.

  10. Today you will fly to Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon, Vietnam's most developed city. After checking in at the hotel, we recommend you delicious restaurants in the downtown area according to your taste.

    In the afternoon, set out on a guided city tour to some landmarks, such as the Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the City Post Office. Finish today's tour with a visit to Ben Thanh Market, one of the few remaining buildings from the Saigon period, offering many souvenirs, T-shirts, and other clothing as well as traditional handicrafts such as lacquer and embroidery.

  11. Today, we will drive out of the city to crawl through the Cu Chi Tunnels, once an underground battle tunnel system dug by villages and soldiers for more than 20 years for Vietnam to resist French rule.

    After that, you’ll be guided to Cao Dai Temple, which is extravagantly decorated, combining symbols, abstract designs and images of saints. One of the major highlights in this temple is watching Caodaists pray - both men and women dressing in long flowing robes sit on the right and left separately, with all devotees lined up in a neat row.

    Take a lunch break in Tay Ninh, then head back to Saigon.

  12. Today we start our journey along the Mekong River. Take a two-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City to Cai Be, where you can visit the floating market in a traditional wooden boat. Feed your sight on dozens of the freshest tropical fruits like jackfruit and rambutan.

    Get off the boat and visit a candy factory to see the special process of making coconut candy. Enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a local family, visit their orchards and listen to traditional folk music performed by local villages.

    Re-board the boat to Vinh Long and enjoy lush coconut groves along the way. Then drive to the largest city in the mysterious Mekong Delta - Can Tho, which is known as the "Rice Basket of Vietnam," famous for its fertile land and floating markets. For the remaining day, you can stroll along Ninh Kieu Park.

  13. After breakfast, take a motorboat to explore the Cai Rang Floating Market, a bustling place for locals to buy and sell all kinds of fruit and vegetables from boats of all sizes. You are sure to be amazed at how busy this market gets in the early morning. Continue the boat trip to the countryside to sample fresh fruit at some of the area's famous orchards.

    Drive back to Ninh Kieu Pier around 10:00 am. Check out the hotel and drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.

  14. Today is the perfect end to your 14-day Vietnam tour from North to South! Enjoy a free morning after breakfast at the hotel. The driver will then escort you to the airport for your flight home at the appointed time! Bon voyage!
