  1. Welcome to our 10-day cooking tour to taste the most authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The local driver will meet you at Hanoi airport and transfer you to the well-selected hotel. After check-in, take a short rest.

    In the afternoon, have a simple exploration of some major attractions in the city center, including the Opera House, Old Quarter, St. Joseph's Cathedral, Hoan Kiem Lake, and Ngoc Son Temple.

    In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with a wonderful Water Puppet Show, which is the most distinctive traditional folk stage show in Vietnam and the only puppet show in the world.

  2. You will have an interesting cooking class in the morning. Take a guided tour to a local market to learn about the main Vietnamese ingredients and flavors, and watch how the locals prepare food. Then a professional chef gives you a brief introduction to some Hanoi vegetables, spices and herbs and shows you how to use them in your cooking. Enjoy local food with Hanoi flavor.

    In the afternoon, your guide takes you to explore the ancient capital rich in historical relics: the Temple of Literature, Hoa Loa Prison (for prisoners of war during the Vietnam War), Tran Quoc Pagoda & Quan Thanh Temple near the West Lake.

  3. After breakfast, drive to the pier to board a cruise ship and sail into Halong Bay, a World Heritage Site featuring the endless emerald sea with oddly-shaped limestone peaks.

    After checking in your private cabin, enjoy some small refreshments and a fresh seafood lunch at the cruise's luxurious restaurant with the natural beauty of the canals. Enjoy sun-lit voyages on shimmering seas to explore mysterious islets (Dinh Huong & Ga Choi) and one of Halong Bay's 3 largest caves (Sung Sot, Thien Cung, or Dau Go). Stop at an islet and enjoy a good time on its white-sand beaches and nearby. Spend a wonderful evening on a junk boat.

  4. Get up early to capture the amazing sunrise over the sea from the top deck and learn how to practice Tai Chi. After a cup of coffee or tea, explore the nearby islands in a rowboat. Then return to the junk boat for breakfast and admire the stunning rock formations of Bai Tu Long Bay.

    Your Halong Bay cruise ends here after a hearty brunch. Your driver has already waiting for you at the dock and then will escort you to the airport for the flight to Da Nang. After arrival, a local driver will meet you and transfer you to the hotel in Hoi An Ancient Town.

  5. Meet your guide at the Hai Scout Cafe in the morning before he takes you to one of Hoi An's bustling markets to stock up on fresh ingredients for today’s cooking class. Board at Red Bridge and sail along Hoi An River for 25 minutes to reach our destination - Red Bridge Cooking School.

    The course lasts about an hour and 15 minutes, including presentations by the chef and time to prepare traditional dishes. Before starting the cooking class, learn about the vegetable & herb garden. At the end of the class, watch the art of vegetable carving.

    Note: Don't forget to bring your bathing suit. At the end of your culinary tour, relax and enjoy a new 20m swimming pool. After that, meet up at the point on the right side of the old town by yourself.

  6. Hoi An is an ancient town for spiritual relaxation. From the 15th to 19th centuries, it was the most prosperous trading port in Southeast Asia. Today, Hoi An is a quaint riverside town scattered with well-preserved Chinese-style buildings.

    Enjoy a leisurely walk through the narrow alleys to admire the unique architecture, such as Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Hall, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, and the Old House of Tan Ky.

    After lunch, take a boat trip to a nearby island for a visit to a ceramic handicraft village. Return to the hotel for a rest in the late afternoon. Enjoy a free night exploring the town at your own pace.

  7. Drive to Da Nang in the morning to catch a flight to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). Upon arrival, your driver and guide will pick you up and drive you to a downtown hotel to check in. Then you are free to enjoy an exploration of the nearby areas on your own.

    Join the street food tour in the late afternoon. The first stop is a local cafe to enjoy some appetizers and cocktails. In the evening, you can explore Saigon on a scooter like the locals. Our tour will start in Chinatown and travel through busy streets and alleys to District 4, enjoying street cold beverages and seafood on the way. From District 4 to District 3, visitors will pass through District 1, located in the heart of the city, where they will taste a Saigon specialty - Banh Xeo, a Vietnamese pancake. Continue your journey to a secluded cafe for live music. After that, we'll take you to a lively bar where you can sip drinks and enjoy the revelry.

  8. We will arrange a morning cooking class for you today. Start by walking to Ben Thanh Market (the city's biggest, most authentic market) to pick up some essential ingredients. Then take a taxi to a restaurant where we’ll have a three-hour cooking lesson. Step by step, everyone makes their dishes under the guidance of a professional chef. You'll be so proud when you taste your Vietnamese food.

    In the afternoon your guide will take you to some landmarks, including War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, City Post Office, Opera Theatre, and the City Hall.

  9. Today, you will start your journey along the Mekong River. Take a two-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City to Cai Be, where you can visit the floating market in a traditional boat. Feed your sight on dozens of the freshest tropical fruits.

    Visit some local craft shops and then enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. After that, disembark at Tan Phong Island and take a traditional rowing boat through a narrow canal to a village, where you can enjoy the peaceful rural landscape on a bicycle.

    The cruise ends at Cai Be. Your driver will meet you at the dock and take you back to Saigon.

  10. Today is the perfect end to your 10-day Vietnam cooking tour! Enjoy a free morning after breakfast at the hotel. Then the driver will escort you to the airport for your flight home at the appointed time. Wish you a pleasant journey!
