Itinerary

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival

We are so honored to have you join our 7-day classic tour of South Vietnam! Upon arrival at Ho Chi Minh Airport, a local driver will transfer you to your hotel in the city center for a rest. You’re free for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City Sightseeing
Notre Dame Cathedral, Center Post Office, Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, Cu Chi Tunnels

Today, set out on a guided city tour first to some landmarks, including the Notre Dame Cathedral, Center Post Office, Reunification Palace, and War Remnants Museum.

After lunch, be transferred out of the downtown area to the Cu Chi Tunnels, once a system of underground battle tunnels dug by villagers and soldiers for Vietnam to resist French rule. You will experience crawling through the tunnels and gaining insight into the resilient national character of the Vietnamese through war stories.

After that, taste tea and cassava, the food of the soldiers during the war. Then, drive back to your hotel in the city center.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Ben Tre – Can Tho
Local Brick & Tile Factory, Coconut-processing & Mat-weaving Workshops, Mekong River Boating

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and then drive 2.5 hours to Ben Tre, with some of the most beautiful scenery along the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival, hop on a boat and meander along the small waterways, going ashore to visit a small brick & tile factory, and coconut-processing & mat-weavingworkshops.

After the visits, dock at a riverside restaurant for a delicious lunch. Next, continue your boat ride through the water palm trees and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Last, transfer to Can Tho for the night.

Day 4: Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh City
Cai Rang Floating Market, Binh Thuy

After breakfast, pack your luggage and check out of the hotel. Your guide and driver will escort you to Cai Rang Floating Market for a motorboat trip. Feed your sight on dozens of the freshest tropical fruits like jackfruit and rambutan.

Continue your visit to one of the most beautiful houses in the Mekong Delta – Binh Thuy, which is more than 100 years old, and famous for its unique architecture and the priceless artifacts collected in it.

Afterwards, lunch on the drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. Relax at the hotel or explore the bustling nights of Ho Chi Minh City on your own. Dinner will be at your own expense.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City – Mui Ne
Optional Activities

In the morning, your driver will pick you up at the hotel lobby at the agreed time and escort you to Mui Ne, a scenic fishing village town, with sun-drenched beaches, dancing tropical coconut groves, and breathtaking turquoise waters.

You are free at leisure today. You can take part in some optional activities, such as kayaking, swimming, and diving. Or explore this lovely town at your own pace.
