  1. Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City, known as the "Pearl of the Orient", the center of Vietnam's economy, culture, technology, tourism, and international trade. Upon arrival at the airport, meet your driver and guide at the exit and then you will be transferred to your 4-star hotel.

    Ho Chi Minh City is characterized by the beautiful Saigon River, old historical buildings and lively streets. The rest of the day is free for you to explore this fascinating city.

  2. Head out early for the Cu Chi Tunnels, a 2-hour drive from the city center. Cu Chi Tunnels, an important part of the Vietnam War and one of the three major relics of Ho Chi Minh City, was an underground war tunnel dug by the farm soldiers of the Vietnamese resistance to French rule and turned into a crucial underground base for anti-American tunnel warfare during the Vietnam War in the 1960s. You will enter the tunnels to explore how the Vietnamese army lived here and fought against the American troops. After lunch, return to the hotel for a short rest.

    In the afternoon, take a guided tour of the Reunification Palace, which used to be the office of the French Governor General in Vietnam. This four-story white building is located in a park where you can learn about a whole period of Vietnam's modern history. Continue to move to see the appearance of Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral, one of the landmarks of Ho Chi Minh City, also known as the Red Church because of the red bricks used in its construction.

    Adjacent to the Notre Dame Cathedral is the Central Post Office, which was built at the end of the 19th century in the French colonial era with a strong French flavor.

    It's a five-minute walk to Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, a heavily French building

    a prominent government building. Its elegant French colonial architecture stands as an iconic symbol of the city's governance and administration. The last stop of the day is the Ho Chi Minh Fine Arts Museum, a bright yellow construction built in the early 20th century. Here you will find a selection of drawings, paintings, and sculptures from the colonial period.

    At night, you are suggested to stroll on your own to Ben Thanh Night Market, where you can find various souvenirs, clothing, bags, wood carvings, coffee, and delicious local snacks.

  3. After breakfast, check out of your hotel and head to Mui Ne, a coastal town about a 4.5-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax at the beach or pool.

    Mui Ne is a paradise for kite surfers. If you are interested, you can ask your guide to help you arrange it (at your own expense).

  4. After breakfast, head to Fairy Stream, flowing through dunes and rock formations on the eastern side of Mui Ne, hidden in dense woods and with exceptional Karst features. (Shorts and slippers are recommended because you need to wade barefoot).

    Then proceed to the Mui Ne Fishing Village. The waters here are tranquil and the sea is parked in a variety of colorful fishing boats. It's a paradise for anyone who loves photography, and it's a perfect subject for fishermen working the sea, and local women picking up shellfish and wild livestock. Here you can enjoy the freshest seafood meal (at your own expense).

    In the afternoon, visit the famous sand dunes. The White Sand Dunes offer a surreal desert-like landscape with rolling, sun-bleached sand dunes. Visitors can enjoy sandboarding and ATV rides for thrilling adventures. The dunes' beauty is most striking during sunrise and sunset, creating a picturesque backdrop for photography enthusiasts.

    Red Sand Dunes is near the coast. The sand is soft and comfortable to tread on. There are some dense woods to the north and west of the dunes, which is ideal for capturing the dunes, the sea, and the woods at the same time. You can also experience sand skiing here. Red Sand Dunes is an ideal place to watch the sunset.

    Your Mui Ne day tour ends at Mui Ne Beach, one of the most famous beaches in South Vietnam, which is a good place to experience the thrilling sport of windsurfing.

  5. It's a four-and-a-half-hour drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.

    In the afternoon, you will be shown around the Ho Chi Minh City Financial Tower, also known as the "Roof of the City". It is 262 meters high and has 68 floors. The observation deck on the 49th floor offers a bird's eye view of Ho Chi Minh City and the winding Mekong River.

    Tan Dinh Church, also known as the Pink Church. Not only is the exterior all pink, but the interior is also decorated in pink. Almost every day, people come here especially to take wedding photos.

    Finally, head to Pham Ngu Lao Street, a popular backpacker spot in Ho Chi Minh City. Here, you can sample almost any flavor of any kind of Vietnamese food, from fried rice to rice noodles, from seafood to steak. You can also pick a lively bar for wine tasting and partying.
