With a coastline of 30 kilometers (18.6 mi), Da Nang features many beautiful seashores, and My Khe Beach is the most picturesque one. Dubbed one of the six most beautiful beaches in the world by Forbes in 2005, My Khe Beach features soft silver sands and clear blue waters. With a coastline of 7 km (4.3 mi), Star Beach located in south-eastern Phu Quoc is regarded as the most beautiful beach on the island. Apart from the Star Beach, Phu Quoc Island has another beach you must visit, Long Beach. Situated in the northwest of Phu Quoc Island, Long Beach strikes visitors with its nearly 20 km (12.4 mi) long coastline. Around 230 km (143 mi) away from Ho Chin Minh City, Con Dao Island’s remote location blocks many visitors’ steps. However, it indeed preserves the most pristine beauty of the beaches on the Con Dao islands. Staying away from crowds of visitors, you will be rewarded with the best swimming and snorkeling experiences. Dam Trau Beach on the northeast coast is very close to the airport and Bai Nhat Beach is known for sunset watching. Nature lovers will be delighted to drop by the turtle sanctuary. As a brilliant jewel of Vietnam’s beach destinations, Mui Ne Beach is about 200 km (124 mi) away from Ho Chi Minh City. The shimmering golden beach and cool clear waters are not the only draws to visitors. During the day, you can snooze on sunbeds and at night a vibrant party life is waiting for you. Apart from nice resorts and interesting fishing village life, Mui Ne Beach is also a paradise beach in southern Vietnam for adventure seekers, which offers a lot of exciting water activities. Situated about 60 km (40 mi) away from Hue and just 25 km (12 mi) away from Da Nang, Lang Co Beach stands at the foot of the well-known Hai Van Pass which features winding roads and majestic mountainous views. 8. Vung Tau Beach - Closest Beach to Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC)

If you are traveling to Ho Chi Minh City, then Vung Tau Beach can be your first choice to enjoy a beach getaway. About 125 km (78 mi) southeast of Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau Beach is the closest beach from the city and a bus ride takes around 2 hours, which makes it a popped-up beach resort for southern locals. At least 4 beaches are optional in Vung Tau.
