  1. Welcome to Chiang Mai, the second-largest city in Thailand and the political, economic, and cultural center of Northern Thailand. Upon arrival at Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX), your exclusive driver will meet you at the designated gate, after which you will be arranged to rest at the hotel.

Chiang Mai is known as the "Rose of the North" for its beautiful scenery and flowers, especially roses. You can explore this fascinating city on your own.

  2. Meet at the hotel lobby at 8:30 am then take a tuk-tuk to the Three Kings Memorial Square where you will see the famous Three Kings Monument, built to commemorate three figures who made significant contributions to Chiang Mai (they were the three northern Thai kings in Lanna's history). Today, the monument is a place of pilgrimage for locals. From time to time, people offer flowers and light incense and candles at the foot of the statues, praying for the spirits of the three kings to send good fortune.

After that, take a tuk-tuk ride to visit Wat Chedi Luang, the most revered temple in Chiang Mai, located in the middle of the old city. The pagoda, with a mixture of Indian and Ceylonese architectural styles, was once the tallest building (98 meters high) in Northern Thailand, but now it is only 42 meters high after having survived earthquakes, wars, and lightning strikes. You can still feel its majesty and solemnity when you stand in front of it.

Continue your temple tour to Wat Phra Singh as well as Wat Chiang Man. Wat Phra Singh looks quite gorgeous and is famous for the awe-inspiring statue of Buddha Phra Singh. Wat Chiang Man, located in the northeast of Chiang Mai's old city, is one of the oldest temples in Chiang Mai. Here you can not only enjoy the tranquil environment and admire the gorgeous and exquisite architecture, but also discover many relics of ancient dynasties.

Then you will be taken to Muang Mai Fruit Market where you can taste a variety of mouth-watering tropical fruits such as pineapples, mangoes, mangosteens and more.

Then you will be escorted back to your hotel.

The afternoon is free for you. You can make your own way to One Nimman, a large shopping mall that combines "entertainment, dining, and shopping". In the evening, you are suggested to head to the landmark Tha Phae Gate, where you have the opportunity to hand-feed the pigeons.

  3. After breakfast, your driver and guide will pick you up and take you to Chiang Rai. (Warm tips: The journey from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai takes about 3 to 4 hours each way through many mountain roads. If you often get carsickness, please prepare some medicine for carsickness in advance.)

White Temple is the first stop today. From a distance, the temple appears to be built of shimmering porcelain, and it's only when you step inside that you realize the illusion is caused by white paint and glass sequins. According to the designer, white was chosen because it symbolizes the purity of the Buddha, while the ubiquitous mirror symbolizes the Buddha's wisdom shining through the universe.

Then head to Blue Temple, or Wat Rong Suea Ten. Its intricate blue and white exterior, adorned with intricate Thai motifs, creates an ethereal atmosphere. Inside, a majestic white Buddha statue stands beneath a mesmerizing painted ceiling. The temple's serene ambiance and artistic brilliance make it a must-visit destination for those exploring the unique temples of northern Thailand.

The Black Temple was designed and built over 36 years by Thawan Duchanee, a renowned artist in Thailand. The Black House Museum has collected a large number of exhibits on death and hell, integrating animal bones of ancient times, hunting tools of primitive nationalities, antiques, and specimens into various works of art with modern art techniques.
