Sawatdee Ka! Welcome to Bangkok for a 14-day Thailand cultural tour! Upon your arrival, your tour guide and driver will meet you and transfer you to your well-selected hotel. Check in to your hotel and recover from your journey.
The remaining of the day is at your leisure to relax or explore the nearby areas on your own.

After breakfast, your guide takes you on today’s Thailand tour that begins at Wat Pho. Built in 1793, this temple preserves the world’s largest reclining Buddha, 46 meters long and 15 meters high. His feet are 5 meters long and are carved with 108 Buddha images. Wat Pho is known as “Thailand’s first university” and offers authentic Thai massages (at extra cost).
Next, take a tuk tuk through a local flower market to the Grand Palace, a massive complex of 28 ancient buildings of the Siamese royal family adjacent to the Chao Phraya River. The Grand Palace brings together the best of Thai architecture, painting, sculpture and decorative arts. Your tour guide will explain some of its stunning structures.
Afterwards, hop on a long-tail boat and sail down the Chao Phraya River to Wat Arun, also known as Temple of the Dawn, one of the royal temples of Thailand. After the tour, enjoy lunch.
Later in the afternoon, your guide will show you around Chinatown. It is one of the busiest commercial districts in the city and has been around for almost 200 years. The strong Chiu Chow flavor is the best feature of Bangkok’s Chinatown. You can try a wide variety of Chaozhou snacks here.

After breakfast, we will set out for the historic city of Sukhothai by a domestic flight. Upon arrival, a local guide and driver meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Check in and relax well.
In the evening, be guided to join Loy Krathong Festival, one of Thailand’s biggest festivals, which takes place in November every year. Your guide will take you to the festival ground where you can see various exhibitions showing Thai culture, art and traditions. The highlight is a sumptuous dinner in the food court area, including a range of delicious Thai dishes.

The first capital of Thailand, Sukhothai is home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Sukhothai Historical Park. After breakfast, you’ll take a bike ride to explore the historical sites in this ancient city. Your first stop is Wat Si Chum, built in the 13th century. Passing through a narrow slit, you’ll see a giant Buddha statue with its fingers covered in gold leaf.
Afterwards, take part in a cultural experience – be instructed to make a water lantern. As night falls, release the lantern into the tranquil waters of the river. Also, enjoy brilliant fireworks and laser show.

After breakfast, bid farewell to Sukhothai and you will be escorted to Chiang Mai. On the way, stop at Lamphun, the oldest small town in northern Thailand, to visit Wat Phra That Hariphunchai. Located by the moat, the temple has a serene environment and houses the hair of Buddha.
Keep driving after the visit. After arriving in Chiang Mai, check in at the hotel of your choice. You can relax freely in the remaining time.

Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, a mountaintop temple outside of Chiang Mai ancient city, is the first stop on today’s Thailand cultural tour. There, capture a panoramic view of Chiang Mai. You can take a cable car (for an additional fee) or hike up stairs to reach the temple.
Next, visit Wat Suan Dok, located in a beautiful garden built in the 14th century during the Lanna dynasty. The temple houses the largest bronze Buddha statue in the country. In addition, you can see many white pagodas and a unique open-air auditorium.
In the late afternoon, experience the lively atmosphere of the Yi Peng Festival. The Yi Peng Festival is one of the grandest festivals in Thailand, held annually in November. The Tourism Authority of Thailand has hailed the Yi Peng Festival as one of the “Seven Wonders of Thailand”. On site, the tour guide will give you a sky lantern and you can release it yourself. In the evening, enjoy a sumptuous dinner in the food court.

Today, your Thailand tour of Chiang Mai takes you to join in a tour of Elephant Rescue Park, the most popular attraction on TripAdvisor in Chiang Mai. And you will spend a whole day here in getting close to the elephants, by feeding them, taking leisurely walks with them, and bathing them.
The Elephant Rescue Park mainly shelters abused or retired elephants. There are about dozens of elephants, with the oldest being 80 years old and the youngest being only 3 months old. The founder of the park is a woman who is known as the ‘Elephant Mother’. She was the first person in their small mountain village to obtain a university degree. Today, you will gain a deep understanding of Thai cuisine. Start by visiting a local market in Chiang Mai. A chef will accompany you to choose the fresh ingredients needed for today’s cooking class. You will also have the opportunity to learn about how Thai spices and herbs make Thai cuisine so delicious.
At the cooking school, roll up your sleeves as a chef. Prepare ingredients for several classic Thai dishes under professional guidance. Enjoy a Thai meal featuring your creations. After the experience, your private driver will escort you to spend the night in Chiang Rai.

This morning, prepare to be dazzled by the art of the temple. Wat Rong Khun, also known as the White Temple. Unlike traditional Thai temples, this temple has a plain white background, inlaid with silver mirrors. It shines in the sun. The Black House, or Baan Dam, was created by the famous Thai modern artist Thawan Duchanee. As opposed to heaven, which is represented by the White Temple, the Black Temple represents hell.
The Blue Temple was designed and built under the auspices of a disciple of the builder of the White Temple. Begun in 2005, it was completed in early 2016. Like its name suggests, this relatively new temple is dominated by shades of blue and gold. You can admire the exquisite carvings.
In the afternoon, you can explore Chiang Rai at your own pace. Shop for local handicrafts at the bustling market or experience its cultural scene with a leisurely stroll through the streets.

In the afternoon, you will be guided to hop on a ship, leading you 75 kilometers northeast of Phuket to Phang Nga Bay. Featuring limestone karsts and emerald green seawater, the bay is known as the ‘Little Guilin (in China)’. Ride a canoe through caves to appraciate limestone formations up close.
