  1. Welcome to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam! When you land at Hanoi airport, a local driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in and relaxation, you will be guided to the theatre to watch the wonderful Water Puppet Show, which is the most distinctive traditional folk stage show in Vietnam.

    After that, enjoy a welcome dinner with authentic Vietnamese cuisine at one of the best restaurants in Hanoi.

  2. Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is an ancient city rich in historical relics, and today you will be taken on an in-depth discovery of the city's past glory.

    Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum will be your first stop, then head to Ho Chi Minh's Stilt House and the Presidential Palace - a beautiful French building surrounded by gardens. After that, your guide will lead you to the One Pillar Pagoda, to tell you the legendary stories behind it.

    In the afternoon, you'll continue to the Temple of Literature, a quintessentially Chinese building dedicated to Confucius, and the Museum of Ethnology, a place to learn about the culture and history of Vietnam's ethnic minorities. Then, hop on a local rickshaw through the Old Quarter of Hanoi at a very leisurely pace to enjoy French architecture and strong folk customs.

    We'll finish the tour at around 4:00 pm, then you can be free for the rest of the time to relax in Hanoi.

  3. Your driver will pick you up at your hotel around 8:00 am and drive about 3.5 hours to Halong Bay, a World Heritage Site with the incredible natural landscape.

    Onboard the cruise, you will be given a general tour itinerary and safety instructions. Enjoy a bumper lunch at the luxurious restaurant with the natural beauty of the canals. You can lounge in the cabin with a view of the endless emerald sea through the large windows, or sunbathe on the top deck.

    In the afternoon, drop anchor in a harbor where you can kayak to explore the extraordinary beauty of Halong Bay. Or swim and dive in the warm water. About 1 hour later, reboard the cruise and take a short break, and then you'll join a unique cooking class to learn how to cook Vietnamese dishes. Enjoy a delicious dinner and a peaceful evening.

  4. Wake up early for a breath of fresh air on the deck, with close-up views of the oddly-shaped limestone islands rising out of the endless emerald sea. Witness the stunning sunrise over the sea and learn how to practice Tai Chi.

    After a cup of coffee or tea, explore the nearby islands in a rowing boat. Then return to the junk boat for breakfast and have an exploration of Sung Sot Cave - one of the largest, most beautiful caves in Halong Bay. Next, continue cruising past a fishing village with a unique way of life.

    Around 10:35 in the morning, the Halong Bay cruise sails back after brunch. Your driver will meet you at the dock at noon. Then he will escort you back to Hanoi. The rest of the day is yours at leisure.

  5. Take an early morning flight to Yangon, Myanmar's most prosperous city. Upon arrival, the local driver and the guide will warmly greet you and take you to your hotel to check in.

    In the afternoon, your tour begins at Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda. It is famous for its 65-meter-long image of a giant reclining Buddha. Next, you will be guided to Kandawgyi Lake Park, where you can take a walk on the bridge and take photos of the golden Kandawgyi Palace Hotel floating in the Lake. As the sun sets, visit Shwedagon Pagoda, Myanmar's most sacred stupa, which is 2,600 years old. Sitting on the top of a hill, the pagoda can be seen from most places of Yangon because the golden roofs illuminate the city.

  6. After breakfast, fly to Bagan. Upon arrival, your local driver and guide will take you to Nyaung U Market, followed by Ananda Temple, one of Bagan's most famous and beautiful temples; and Shwezigon Pagoda, a Buddhist religious site dedicated to the bones and teeth of Shakyamuni Buddha.

    Continue your journey to Myinkaba Village, a lovely village famous for its traditional Mon-style lacquer ware, where you have the opportunity to watch the making of bamboo woven mats. Gubyaukgyi Temple is a highlight of the village, with a large number of beautifully preserved murals on its inner wall.

    Finish your day with a boat ride on the Ayeyarwaddy River for a beautiful calm view.

  7. Take a 1-hour ride from Bagan to Mount Popa, an inactive volcano 1,518 meters above sea level. It is a famous pilgrimage site with 37 venerated Nat temples and cultural relics sites atop the mountain.

    Due to the fertile soil, the hillside is covered with a large number of beautiful flowers and other vegetation. To reach the monastery at the top of the mountain, you need to climb 777 stairs. From the top, you can enjoy the amazing scenery of the surrounding area. If the weather is fine, you may see the Bagan and Ayeyarwaddy River.

    Near Mount Popa, you are invited to visit a sugar factory, where you can learn how to make sugar from palm trees. Later in the afternoon, drive back to your hotel in Bagan for a rest.

  8. Catch your flight to Heho after breakfast. The local guide will accompany you to Pindaya Cave, where you can feast your eyes on thousands of golden Buddha statues in various styles. After visiting Shan Umbrella Making Home Industry, head to Nyaung Shwe Wharf and take a boat ride on Inle Lake to marvel at the floating village and the largest and oldest monastery on the Lake - Ngaphechaung Monastery.

    From here, continue to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the most revered temple in the Inle Lake area, which houses five ancient Buddha statues. You will learn the story of the temple with your guide. Finally, drive to the hotel and photograph the serene sunset over the lake.

  9. After enjoying breakfast, board the boat and head to Indein, a small village west of Inle Lake known for its market and two groups of ancient towers. Along the way, you'll explore the lively 5 Day Market, where you could learn more about the local culture and see a wide range of products. After that, sail an hour to the village of Indein. After a 30-minute walk to the top of the mountain, you see a large number of unrestored pagodas.

    After the tour, on the way back to the lakeside hotel, stop at Inpawkhon Village to watch the weaving of a rare fabric, silk made from lotus flowers growing in the lake. If time permits, we will take you to visit the silversmith and blacksmith workshops before returning you to your hotel to rest.

  10. Fly from Inle Lake back to Yangon and then on to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. Upon arrival at the airport, your driver will escort you to your hotel to check in. The rest of the time is yours at leisure.

  11. Today we will visit some of the landmarks, such as the Royal Grand Palace (a dazzling building complex surrounded by well-maintained verdant gardens), the Emerald Buddha, and the Wat Pho (one of the largest and oldest wats in Bangkok housing over 1,000 Buddha images).

    After lunch at a local restaurant, your guide takes you on a ferry to Wat Arun, an ancient temple enjoying the reputation of "Eiffel Tower of Thailand". Finally, visit Wat Traimit, a royal temple famous for its largest solid gold Buddha image in the world.

  12. You will be assigned a Silom Thai cooking class in the morning. Take a guided tour to a local market to shop for fresh ingredients. A professional chef will teach you how to distinguish Thai spices and how to make authentic Thai dishes. After a self-made lunch, fly to Chiang Mai for a fresh start.

  13. Take a tuk-tuk to today's first stop - Wat Pra Singh, Chiang Mai's second oldest Buddhist temple, built in 1345. Afterwards, move to Wat Chedi Luang, which is the location of the largest Buddhist pagoda in Chiang Mai. After the tour, head to Warorot Market. It is the largest and most well-known market in northern Thailand. You can find local fruits, snacks, tea, clothes, etc.

    In the afternoon, drive you to Doi Suthep Temple. It is the holiest temple in northern Thailand, and every local elementary school student knows its founding legend. Built in 1383, the temple is dedicated to a bone from the shoulder of the historic Buddha. Return to hotel after the tour.

  14. Today we will head southwest for an hour and a half to Elephant Village. Walk over the yellow Iron Bridge and the rice fields to a hilltop camp. Put on a Karen Tribe T-shirt and you can explore the jungle.

    Your guide will lead you through the daily lives of elephants and give you the chance to get up close and personal with them. Bath elephants under the guidance of professionals, roam freely with elephants in the wild...

    Later, capture a panoramic view of the village from the hilltop's open-air balcony while enjoying a delicious lunch. Return to Chiang Mai around 2:00 PM.

  15. Today is the last day of your 15-day Vietnam, Myanmar & Thailand tour. Depart Chiang Mai for your onward flight. Wish you a comfortable journey!
