  1. Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City! Your local guide and driver will meet you at the airport after arrival, then drive to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to get your first glimpse of the city’s downtown area.

    In the evening, a welcome dinner is prepared for you.

  2. After breakfast, your driver and guide will meet you at the hotel lobby, then transfer you to the Cu Chi Tunnels to look into Vietnam’s wartime history in the last century. This immense underground tunnel network was used as the hiding spot of Viet Cong guerrillas during the Vietnam War. To get a real feel of underground life during wartime, tourists can follow a local guide to crawl two safer sections of the tunnel.

    After lunch, look into the life and highlights of this bustling modern city in Vietnam. Follow your local guide to War Remnants Museum, the former Presidential Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Post office, Dong Khoi Street, Continental Hotel, Opera House, and City Hall.

    At the end of the day, get back to your hotel and the following time is free for you.

  3. At 7:30 am, your guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel lobby and take you to Mekong Delta to explore the distinctive riverine culture and chaotic floating markets.

    Your first stop will be the Cai Be floating market, an iconic market showcasing local unique marketing culture and the beauty of the Mekong Delta. Take a sampan along the narrow canals, you’ll find that the waterway is filled with various long tail boats selling fruits, vegetables, and food.

    After that, walk into some local workshops to see how locals make rice paste, coconut candy, and pop-rice. We will also visit a nearby handicraft village where local villagers are skillful at making rice sheets, fish sauce, soya sauce, cooking salt, etc.

    After lunch at a local restaurant, hop on a rowboat to explore the peaceful countryside life, stilted wooden houses, nice ethnic people, charming floating lives, lush orchards, and beautiful tropical scenery.

    You will not miss a nursery garden where skillful growers work hard to cultivate all kinds of young fruit trees.

    At around 3:30 pm, your cruise trip comes to an end and your driver will transfer you back to Ho Chi Minh City.

  4. After breakfast, enjoy your free time until your driver picks you up at the appointed time and transfers you to the airport for your flight to Danang, and starts your exploration in Central Vietnam.

    Upon arrival at Danang, your local guide and driver will welcome you and drive you to Hoi An. Hoi An is a UNESCO-protected ancient town where you can still trace its timeless charm of the 15th century from the numerous traditional ancient architectures. Expect an enjoyable stay in the ancient town.

  5. After breakfast, meet your guide and driver at the hotel lobby, then ride a bike through paddy fields, the local market, and kindergarten and get to Van Lang fisherman village and Bay Mau coconut water forest. Here you will be impressed by the mangrove forests, canals, houses with coconut leaf roofs, and the rich seafood products.

    You will get a chance to visit a local family (a 3 generations family), be invited to taste the local green tea and enjoy leisurely walking around the village. Learning to row a basket boat with local skillful fishermen and seeing how they fish in the traditional way in the water coconut forest will be a memorable experience.

    After that, back to the local family, relax yourself with a foot bath with medicinal herbs and traditional therapeutic practice, then learn to prepare lunch with the host. Enjoy a lunch with many local unique dishes, then take a short rest before getting back to your hotel.

  6. Today is the free day for your to explore Hoi An Ancient Town. You can freely walk around the ancient town to meet many ancient buildings and pagodas, visit numerous traditional shophouses and fresh markets, and try rickshaws and various eateries.

  7. After breakfast, it’s the free time for your relaxation or exploration until your driver pick you up at the appointed time (about 2 hours before your flight time). You will be transferred to the Danang Airport for your flight to Hanoi.

    On arrival, be welcomed by your guide and driver and transfer to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to take a rest or explore the local streets by yourself.

  8. Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, then at 8:00 am, follow your guide to start your journey in the Hanoi capital.

    Your first stop is Ho Chi Minh complex to discover Ho Chi Minh’s life and role in Vietnamese history. Head to the Presidential Palace, a part of the Ho Chi Minh Complex. A legacy of Vietnamese history and culture, this yellow three-story building is in French-style from 1906 and is surrounded by lush garden, orchard, long boulevard, and beautiful pond. Then, visit One Pillar Pagoda before lunch.

    After lunch, listen to your guide narrate important historical and cultural events while visiting the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. Followed by a visit to Ethnographic Museum where you will be better informed about Vietnam culture. Next up, ride a bike to explore the old quarter with 36 ancient streets and look into both classic and modern aspects of the capital.

    Today’s trip will end at 4:00 pm, the rest time is free for you to relax or explore the local nightlife.

  9. At 8:00 am, after checking out of your hotel, drive 3.5 hours to Halong Bay, another UNESCO-listed heritage in Vietnam. Upon arrival, hop on the cruise and enjoy a welcome briefing and drinks.

    Enjoy your onboard lunch with local special seafood. Sit back on the sundeck or in your cabin as the cruise take you through the dramatic limestone islets. In the afternoon, you will be left for about 1 hour to enjoy fun activities, like swimming, and kayaking. The expert guide will instruct the basic steps to paddle kayaks so you can smoothly explore the beautiful islands in Halong Bay.

    After that, get back to the cruise, a cooking class is waiting for you in the late afternoon. Superb dinner is served on board.

  10. Continue your Halong Bay cruise in the early morning. Attending a Tai Chi Class on the sun deck, sitting on the upper deck for sightseeing, marveling at sparkling sunrise, and taking great photos of the towering islands are all can’t-miss morning activities when on the cruise.

    After breakfast, visit Sung Sot Cave. Cruise sightseeing continues, and brings you to a fishing village with a unique lifestyle. The cruise will get back to the jetty at around 10:30 am. Enjoy your last moment in Halong Bay and treat your stomach with a traditional Vietnamese lunch before you leave the boat at noon.

    Go ashore and your driver will transfer you to Hanoi airport for your flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, your guide and driver in Yangon will be ready to welcome you at the airport and escort you to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you.

  11. After breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel lobby. Start today with a visit to the 2500-year-old Sule Pagoda. Then, get to Botataung Pagoda, a 40-meter-high golden pagoda on the banks of the Bago river.

    After lunch at a local restaurant, visit Chaukhtatyi Pagoda to see the image of a giant reclining Buddha. Move on to the Scott Market (aka Bogyoke Aung San Market, which closes on Monday and gazette Holiday ). With various handicrafts, gem shops, wood carvings, fabrics, etc., the market is one of the most lively markets in Yangon where you can look into local’s life and buy some Burmese souvenirs. It is also the ideal place to exchange your money for Kyat.

    After that, visit Shwedagon Pagoda when it is glittering under the sunset. Shwedagon is the most sacred Buddhist pagoda in Myanmar, whose 99 meters high golden dome is said to be plastered with 60 tons of pure gold. It is quite a dreamy experience to see the golden pagoda being lit at night.

  12. After breakfast, enjoy your free time until your driver transfers you to the airport for your flight to Bagan. On arrival, your local guide and driver will welcome you and escort you to the hotel for check-in. After a short break in your hotel, expect a Bagan city tour in the afternoon.

    Bagan is a city boasting over 2,000 ancient pagodas, temples, and ruins. Follow your guide to Bagan Archaeological Zone to see some of the best pagoda examples, including Shwezigon Pagoda - an ancient Burmese-style pagoda that is covered by over 30,000 copper plates, Ananda, Gubyaukgyi Htilominlo and Sulamani temple. Your expert will narrate the highlights and history of these temples in detail.

    Drive back to your hotel after enjoying the amazing sunset over Bagan's solemn ancient monument.

  13. After breakfast, ride a romantic horse cart to enjoy a full-day Bagan sightseeing tour. Your first stop is Nanbaya Temple which houses intricated carvings of Brahma, the god in Hinduism, etc. Then, to the Minkaba Gubyaukyi Temple before enjoying lunch at a local restaurant.

    In the afternoon, visit the MyaZedi pagoda and Manuha Temple housing four larges images of the Buddha. Finish today by climbing up to the top of the ShweSandaw pagoda and marvel at the brilliant sunset and panoramic view of the city.

  14. Enjoy your free time in the morning until your driver transfers you to catch the flight to Heho which is the gateway to Inle Lake. On arrival at Heho, your local guide and driver will pick you up and transfer you to Inle Lake. On the way, stop at a family-owned umbrella workshop where you'll get a chance to uncover how Myanmar umbrellas are made from raw materials of bamboo and wood. Have a stopover at Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery before reaching Inle Lake.

    After checking in at your hotel in Inle Lake, hop on a long-tail boat to sail along the serene Inle Lake. You will observe local people fishing with traditional leg-rowing techniques, meet local unique floating gardens, look into simple village life and immerse yourself in the surrounding sceneries. See many golden temples in this area brightening under the sunlight before getting back to your hotel.

  15. Continue your discovery and exploration in Inle Lake. Indulge yourself in the lively market where you can meet local hill tribe people in colorful dress bartering for goods and products, and see local monks collecting their morning alms. The market rotates every five days around five different villages in this area.

    Come close and talk with local fishermen who are fishing with their traditional one-leg-rowing technique. After lunch at a local restaurant, sail further to some local villages. Walk into some cigar-rolling workshops to see how local women make traditional Burmese cigars.

    Then, the boat trip will take you to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the most revered temple in the Inle Lake area, housing five golden images of the Buddha. Catch the stunning sunset over mountains and rivers and back to your hotel.
