  1. So honored to have you on our 9 days North Vietnam tour with Angkor Wat! Upon your arrival in Hanoi, your guide and driver will pick you up and escort you to the well-selected hotel for check-in.

    In the afternoon, conduct a simple exploration of some major attractions in the city center, including the Opera House, Hoan Kiem Lake, Old Quarter, and Ngoc Son Temple.

  2. Hanoi, Vietnam's capital, is an ancient city with a history of more than 1,000 years, and today you will be taken on an in-depth discovery of the city's past glory.

    The first to be shown is Ba Dinh Square, which has the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum on its west side, surrounded by lush trees. From there, walk through a beautiful garden to One Pillar Pagoda and the Presidential Palace. After that, your private guide will accompany you to visit the Temple of Literature, a typical Chinese building. Then we have a brief look at Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple, which stand by a serene lake. For your next destination, you can choose between the History Museum and the Ethnology Museum.

    Finally, a wonderful Water Puppet Show ends today's journey. It is the most distinctive traditional folk stage show in Vietnam and the only puppet show in the world.

  3. After an early morning meal, your professional guide and driver will meet you at your hotel and drive approximately 6 hours to Sapa. Upon arrival, check in and have lunch at your own expense.

    In the afternoon we will take you to Sau Chua Ethnic Village, the home of the Black Hmong people. It is located at the top of a hill where you can capture a stunning panoramic view of Sapa town at sunset. The local villagers will be eager to share their cultural customs and way of life with you.

    Drive back to your hotel and the remaining day is free for you.

  4. Today we are going on a one-day Sapa hike. With your guide, you'll hike through beautiful terraced fields as well as scattered villages, with a breath of fresh air.

    There are 3 hiking trails for your reference: a 3-km short hike, a 6-km medium hike and a 12-km long hike. You can choose freely according to your physical condition. During the hike, you have the opportunity to meet friendly locals and learn more about interesting ethnic cultures.

    Late afternoon, drive back to Sapa.

  5. Today is the midpoint of our 9-day Vietnam trip. After breakfast, you are allowed to explore Sapa freely.

    Ham Rong Mountain is highly recommended, located in the heart of the town, and a prime choice for mountain climbing. The mountain is covered with green vegetation all year round and carefully cultivated colorful flowers, as well as interesting artificial landscapes and folk performances. From the top of the 1,000-meter-high mountain, you could overlook the whole of Sapa town. Or you can head to O Quy Ho Village to photograph the impressive Silver Waterfall and Heaven Pass.

    After lunch, drive out of the beautiful town of Sapa back to Hanoi.

  6. Drive 2.5 hours to the pier to board a cruise ship and sail into Halong Bay, a World Heritage Site endowed with breathtaking natural beauty. We are going on a 24-hour Halong Bay cruise. At noon, delicious fresh seafood will be served for your lunch.

    Cruising on Halong Bay, you will feast your eye on the endless emerald sea with oddly-shaped limestone peaks that are dotted with lush trees and bushes. Enjoy sun-lit voyages on shimmering seas to explore mysterious islets (Dinh Huong & Ga Choi) and one of Halong Bay's 3 largest caves (Sung Sot, Thien Cung, or Dau Go). Make a stop at an islet and enjoy a good time on its white-sand beaches and nearby.

    We will arrange for you to spend a wonderful evening on a junk boat. (Routes and activities vary according to weather and season)

  7. Get up early to take photos of the amazing sunrise over the sea from the top deck and learn how to practice Tai Chi. After a cup of coffee or tea, explore the nearby islands in a rowboat. Then return to the junk boat for breakfast and enjoy the astonishing rock formations of Bai Tu Long Bay. Your Halong Bay cruise comes to an end after a bumper brunch.

    Your private driver has already waiting for you at the dock and then will escort you to the airport for the flight to Siem Reap. After arrival, a local driver will meet you and transfer you to the hotel.

  8. Today is the day to explore Angkor Wat. Take a tuk-tuk to Angkor Wat in the morning to catch the magnificent sunrise view - the entire sandstone temple complex is gilded by the morning light. You can enjoy a breakfast box with a hot cup of tea or coffee at a restaurant near Angkor Wat.

    Afterwards, you will be led to the south gate of Angkor Thom to admire the majestic religious complex, including the Bayon Temple, Elephant Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King. After all visits, move forward to your final destination, Ta Phrom Temple, which is powerfully embraced by a giant root system.

    Go back to your hotel, and the rest of the day is yours at leisure.

  9. In the morning, recover from lethargy in a Siem Reap neighborhood with a deep breath of fresh air. Then drive to Tonle Sap Lake. Immerse yourself in a peaceful moment in a canoe on the lake, and take pictures of colorful floating houses.

    Drive back to Siem Reap for lunch. Your 9-day trip to Vietnam will end with an exploration of a local old market called Psah Chas.

    In the end, your driver will escort you to the airport for your onward flight. Wish you a safe journey!
