Welcome to our 19-day Southeast Asia tour package! Upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, your private guide and driver will meet you and transfer you to your chosen hotel.
The rest of the day is yours to explore the capital city of Vietnam at your own pace.

After breakfast, your Vietnam tour starts after meeting your local tour guide. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is the first stop. Located in the middle of Ba Dinh Square, it was built to commemorate the great Ho Chi Minh. Next is the One Pillar Pagoda, named after a large stone pillar built in the middle of a pool. The original temple was built in 1049 and was blown up in 1954 when France withdrew its troops, leaving only the stone pillar. What we see now was rebuilt on the same site in 1955 in its original form.
Continue your tour to explore the Temple of Literature, once a place where the sons and daughters of the royal relatives of the Li Dynasty (1009-1225) studied. The temple, which houses a statue of Confucius, with the Chinese architectural style and has five courtyards. Then, visit Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, which is divided into two parts: indoor and outdoor. The indoor section has two floors and introduces all the ethnic groups in Vietnam. Outside, there are many aboriginal houses, burial chambers and bungalows. After the tour, enjoy lunch.
In the afternoon, feel the lively atmosphere when taking a local rickshaw through Hanoi Old Quarter. In the evening, be guided to watch the water puppet performance, a traditional Vietnamese art form. A stage is set up over a pool and puppets are manipulated by actors hidden in the background using long strings or bamboo poles.

Today, embark on a Halong Bay cruise. Halong Bay, known as “Guilin on the Sea”, is a typical limestone karst bay. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994.
The first stop of the cruise is Trinh Nu Cave, also known as Virgin Cave, which is one of the most famous caves in Halong Bay. It is famous for its story. Legend has it that a beautiful woman committed suicide in the cave after being forced to marry an old official. Her body turned into stone here. Explore the beautiful stalactites and stalagmites under colorful lights in the cave.
Afterwards, enjoy the limestone karst landscapes when you swim in the emerald waters of Halong Bay. Return to the cruise ship and enjoy a refreshing drink. Don’t miss out on capturing the amazing sunset view over the sea.

In the morning, your cruise ship stop at Sung Sot Cave, one of the most remarkable caves of Halong Bay. Aka Surprise Cave, this attraction shows you impressive stalactites and stalagmites formations. Afterwards, go back to your ship for a hearty brunch and sail back to the Halong Bay port.
Then, you will be escorted back to Hanoi for your flight to Da Nang. Upon landing, a local driver will transfer you to the World Heritage Site of Hoi An for the night.

Southeast Asia tour in Vietnam today leads you to discover the beautiful Hoi An Ancient Town. As early as the 17th century, it became the most important trading port in Southeast Asia, along with Malacca.
Your guide will first show you Hoi An’s landmark, the Japanese Covered Bridge, which is more than 400 years old. Next, visit the Assembly Hall of the Chaozhou Chinese Congregation to learn about the diverse cultures of Chaozhou and explore the historic Tan Ky Old House, where generations of the same family have lived for centuries. Finally, visit the local market. At night, the well-preserved ancient buildings and streets are dotted with colorful lanterns. You can explore the town on your own.

In the afternoon, drive to Da Nang airport (1 hour) for your flight to the metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City (formerly known as Saigon). Upon arrival, be escorted to the well-selected hotel. You are free to explore its nightlife if interested.

Your Ho Chi Minh City tour begins with city sightseeing of some landmarks. Built in the late 19th century as a product of the French colonial period, Notre Dame Cathedral is also known as the Red Church because it was built using red bricks. Adjacent to it is the Central Post Office, which at first glance looks like an imposing station. In fact it is a well-preserved building with a strong French flavor.
Continue your tour to the Reunification Palace, also known as the Independence Palace, which was once the office of the French Governor General of Vietnam and was destroyed during the Vietnam War. It was later rebuilt and became the official residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam.
In the afternoon, take a guided tour of Vietnam’s past at the War Remnants Museum. In the outdoor section, you can see the airplanes, artillery shells, and various gas bombs used by the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Inside, pictures, maps and texts depict the Vietnam War.
Afterwards, taste a cup of traditional Vietnamese coffee at a nearby café. The famous Cu Chi Tunnels, the largest Vietnam underground tunnels, is the last stop today. They are remnants from the Vietnam War when they once served as a base for Viet Cong soldiers, provided shelter, transportation routes, and strategic advantages that made great contributions to the war efforts.

Today, we will explore the Mekong River, starting with the bustling Cai Be Floating Market. You can get a glimpse of the daily life of the locals and understand how this busy trade has developed.
Afterwards, take a small boat tour along the narrow canal, surrounded by coconut trees, which will be an unforgettable experience. After finishing, drive to Can Tho for the night.

In the morning, your guide will take you to experience another lively market – Cai Rang Floating Market, one of the largest and most famous floating markets in the Mekong Delta. After the visit, return to Ho Chi Minh City for your flight to Siem Reap in Cambodia. Upon arrival, the rest of the day is for you to enjoy yourself at your own pace. You can have a good relaxation at the hotel.

Your Southeast Asia tour in Cambodia begins at the magnificent Angkor Wat, Cambodia’s national treasure. It is the largest temple style building in the world and also the earliest Khmer style building in the world. While exploring the temples of Angkor Wat, marvel at the immortal heritage of the Khmer Empire. Angkor Wat was listed as a World Cultural Heritage site in 1992.
Your expert tour guide will first take you to visit Bayon Temple, located in the center of Angkor City. It consists of more than 50 towers, with the middle tower standing at a height of 45 meters. What impresses you is the relief of smiling faces on the towers, which has witnessed the glorious history of the Khmer Empire for centuries.
Strolling through the ruins of Ta Prohm. You will see many towering ancient trees that have been growing for hundreds of years at the top, base, and crevices of the buildings in the temple. This is one of the most fascinating landscapes in the Angkor archaeological site.

After breakfast, we will drive to appreciate exquisite reliefs of Banteay Srei. It is known as the “Gem of Angkorian Art”. Next, move on to Cambodian Landmine Museum. The Cambodian people have been committed to clearing landmines that endanger lives. The pictures and words in the museum will leave a lasting impact on you.
Next visit the Cambodian countryside. Sample some of the traditional rice wine and palm sugar that has been passed down through generations. Enjoy a picturesque ox cart ride along a serene country road, framed by swaying palm trees and verdant rice fields. Immerse yourself in the rustic charm of the countryside as you embrace the slow-paced tranquility.
Continue your tour in Siem Reap to Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater Lake. You will see the floating village of Kampong Phluk and its unique way of life on a boat ride. In the morning, meet your tour guide in the hotel lobby and then begin your Thailand tour at the Wat Pho, famous for its large reclining Buddha. It is one of the oldest temples in Bangkok, with the Buddha of 46 meters long and 15 meters high. It is made of iron, covered in gold, and adorned with precious stones. It almost occupies the entire hall, so it is difficult for tourists to take a full picture of it. Besides, you can get a glimpse of its cultural heritage.
Afterwards, hop on a tuk tuk and cross Pak Khlong Talat flower market to reach the magnificent Grand Palace. The Siamese style palace complex gathers Thai painting, sculpture, and decorative arts. The tour guide will explain the royal history of Thailand to you. Don’t miss the opportunity to take photos with the royal guard wearing white regalia.
Next, pay a visit to Wat Arun after a long tail boat along the ancient canals of Thonburi. This used to be the royal temple of Rama II. Be guided to tour the main hall and five Buddhist pagodas, highlighting its intricate carvings.
Afterwards, move to Chinatown, one of the busiest commercial districts with a history of nearly 200 years. Most of the houses here are relatively old, and the operators are almost all Chinese. It is said that most of Bangkok’s gold shops are located in Chinatown. In addition, you can find Chinese bookstores, newsstands, Chinese cinemas, and more.

After breakfast, fly to Chiang Mai to attend one of Thailand’s biggest festivals, Loy Krathong, which takes place in November every year and is a festival of young Thai men and women who are in love with each other.
You will be taken on a lantern making and releasing experience. Be instructed to decorate your own lantern and release it onto the water at night. In the evening, you will be served dishes from Northern Thailand.

After breakfast, join in a tour of Elephant Rescue Park, the most popular attraction on TripAdvisor in Chiang Mai. Spend half a day here in getting close to the elephants, by feeding them, taking leisurely walks with them, and bathing them.
In the afternoon, explore the historical sites of Chiang Mai. Wat Chedi Luang is located in the center of the ancient city. When you enter the temple gate, you will be attracted by the towering trees. Once inside, you will see the Great Stupa, a four-square Lanna-style sacred stupa built in 1411 and almost 80 meters high. The four sides of the stupa are carved with elaborate spiritual serpents. Follow your tour guide to explore the Buddhist halls, and other spaces.
Next is the highlight of Chiang Mai – Doi Suthep, a Buddhist holy site in Thailand with an altitude of over 1600 meters. The forest in the mountains is dense, with flowers competing for beauty. The climate is cool and pleasant, and the air is very fresh. Visit the temple on the mountaintop, where you can overlook the panoramic view of Chiang Mai from the observation deck. After the visit, drive you back to the hotel in Chiang Mai.

After breakfast, say goodbye to Chiang Mai and continue your Thailand tour to Koh Samui by air. This is the third largest island in Thailand, located in the Gulf of Thailand. Compared with Phuket, Koh Samui is more natural and simple.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to check in at your beachfront hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax on the beach or savor fresh seafood at a beachfront restaurant.
