Day 1: Yangon Arrival

Welcome to Myanmar! Upon your arrival at Yangon, your local English-speaking guide and driver will greet you at the arrival hall, and then transfer you to your hotel in the downtown area for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you.

Day 2: Yangon – Short Flight to Bagan
Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda, local lacquerware workshop, Bagan Archaeological Zone

This morning, catch your early morning flight to Bagan. Upon arrival, your guide and driver will welcome you at the airport. You will be accompanied to Nyaung Oo Market to see local people buy and sell their daily food and how they bargain. Then transfer to the Shwezigon Pagoda, an ancient Burmese-style pagoda that is covered by over 30,000 copper plates. Your expert local guide will narrate to you the rich history of Bagan.

In the afternoon, visit a local lacquerware workshop to learn how locals make traditional lacquerware. Continue to visit some of the best pagoda examples in the Bagan Archaeological Zone, including Ananda Temple, one of the most beautiful temples in Bagan that is known for its four impressive standing Buddha images. Enjoy the stunning sunset view from the upper terrace of one of the temples here before getting back to your hotel.

Day 3: Bagan – Yangon Tour
Chaukhtatyi Pagoda, Shwedagon Pagoda

After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the airport for your morning flight to Yangon. Being founded in 1755, Yangon is the largest city in Myanmar where you will be attracted by plenty of cultural, natural wonders, and magnificent colonial architecture.

The first stop in Yangon is Chaukhtatyi Pagoda which is known for the image of a giant reclining Buddha. After that, move to Kandawgyi Park and Karawik Palace on the Royal Lake for some great photo opportunities.

After that, head to the Shwedagon Pagoda, the most sacred Buddhist pagoda in Myanmar, where you can enjoy the stunning sunset and peaceful people watching when locals doing their end-of-the-day prayers. The 99 meters high golden dome is said to be plastered with 60 tons of pure gold.

Day 4: Yangon City Tour–Departure
Sule Pagoda, Bogyoke Aungsan Market

This morning, continue your in-depth discovery in Yangon. Drive to the downtown area to look into the bustling life and the over 2500-year-old Sule Pagoda. Transfer to the Bogyoke Aungsan Market (close on Mondays and gazette Holidays) with various handicrafts, gem shops, wood carvings, etc. You can wander around the market and choose some Burmese souvenirs.

Then, drive to the Yangon international airport for your departure flight. End of your 4 days Myanmar trip.
