  1. Welcome to Myanmar! Upon your arrival at Yangon, your local English-speaking guide and driver will greet you at the arrival hall, and then transfer you to the downtown area to get your first glance at the city. See many colonial architectures pass through one by one while you are on a scenic drive.

    Before getting back to your hotel, head to the Shwedagon Pagoda, the most sacred Buddhist pagoda in Myanmar, where you can enjoy the stunning sunset and peaceful people watching when locals doing their end-of-the-day prayers. The 99 meters high golden dome is said to be plastered with 60 tons of pure gold.

    Later on, drive to your hotel for check-in before enjoying our welcome dinner.

  2. A memorable Yangon city trip is waiting for you today. Yangon, being found in 1755, is the largest city in Myanmar where you will be attracted by plenty of cultural, and natural wonders.

    Start today by visiting LawkaChantharArbayarLaba Muni Buddha Image (Kyauktawgyi). Then, head to the Chaukhtatyi Pagoda to see the image of a giant reclining Buddha. After that, move to the Karaweik Hall Royal on the Royal Lake for some great photo opportunities. Next, a scenic drive will take you through the Strand Hotel, Post Office, and City Hall, until you reach the 2500-year-old Sule Pagoda.

  3. This morning, you’ll need to take your breakfast away to catch your early morning flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, your guide and driver will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to the Amarapura Ancient Town to visit Mahagandayon Monastery and look into the daily life of Burmese monks in the monastery.

    Then visit the U Bein Bridge, the oldest and longest wooden bridge in the world and the biggest highlight in the ancient town. Get your camera ready as we will hop on a small boat on the serene Taungthaman Lake to catch the stunning sunset scenery over the water.

    After that, drive to Sagaing and visit U Min Thonze Pagoda for a panoramic view of the Irrawaddy River.

  4. After breakfast, a boat trip will take you to the Settawya Pagoda in Mingun Village where you will see a marble carving of a Buddha footprint.

    Then, follow your guide to Mingun Pahtodawgyi to see the ruins of a massive unfinished construction project tracing back to 1790.

    Leisurely walk to the Mingun Bell & Myatheintan Pagoda. The white-washed pagoda was built in 1816, attracting many visitors with its beautiful waves that symbolize Mount Meru in Buddhist texts and seven terraces of mountains towards heaven. Walking on the terraces is a can’t-miss experience while visiting the temple.

    Take a boat to enjoy the sunset on the way back to Mandalay.

  5. After breakfast, we will take a cruise along the Ayeyarwaddy River to Bagan. Reach Bagan in the early evening, the rest time is for your to check into your hotel and take a rest.

  6. Bagan is a city that will offer you one of the best sunrise experiences in the world. With over 2,000 pagodas spread out across the horizon in the morning mist, the shadows of the pagodas shifts as the sun rises. It is also a great place to admire time-honored local art and handicrafts, including lacquerware, bamboo works & locally made cloth.

    After breakfast, visit Shwezigon Pagoda, an ancient Burmese-style pagoda that is covered by over 30,000 copper plates. Head to Htilominlo Temple to see its exquisite plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decoration. After that, visit Myinkaba Village to learn how locals make traditional lacquerware.

    This afternoon, follow your expert guide to visit some of the best pagoda examples in the Bagan Archaeological Zone, including the Ananda Temple which is known for its four impressive standing Buddha images, Thabinnyu Temple which offers an awesome view since it towers higher than any other pagodas in the city, and Dhammayangyi Temple in a dramatic pyramid shape.

  7. Drive to Nyaung Oo Airport in the early morning for your flight to Heho. On arrival at Heho, your local guide and driver will pick you up and transfer you to Inle Lake, from where a boat trip will take you to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the most revered temple in the Inle Lake area, housing five golden images of the Buddha.

    During your boat trip, you will float through local ethnic people’s stilted houses, their unique floating gardens with various produces like tomatoes, melons, and papayas, and see local people fishing with traditional leg-rowing techniques.

    Continue your boat ride to Ngaphechaung Monastery, a 200-year-old teakwood monastery built on stilts. Get a nice view of the mesmerizing floating garden from the monastery.

  8. This morning, we’ll visit Indein village on a boat trip. A small village on the west of Inle Lake, Indein is home to the Shwe Indein Pagoda which houses over 1600 ancient stupas of the 16th century. You can enjoy a leisure walk through the colonnade to see many shop stalls selling various Burmese products.

  9. This morning, you’ll take a flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, transfer to the Bogyoke Aungsan Market (close on Mondays and gazette Holidays) with various handicrafts, gem shops, wood carvings, etc. You can wander around the market and choose some Burmese souvenirs.

    After that, head to St Mary’s Cathedral, a lovely Catholic church featuring its distinctive bridge design and dome architecture. Move on to Sule Pagoda which is said with a history of over 2500 years.

    Finally, freely stroll around the bustling streets of China Town and Little India. Admire the colonized-style buildings, dramatic mosques, and Hindu temples which will bring back to the old Myanmar a century ago.
