In particular, February is the driest month in Cambodia, with a rainfall of only 11.5mm. While, when is the rainy season in Cambodia? From May to November, when the wind shifts into the southwest monsoon, humidity increases and rain comes, which greatly helps local farmers irrigate their fields.

Does Cambodia get typhoons? Occasionally, Cambodia can be hit by typhoons from the western Pacific. However, this is very rare. Typhoons pass over Cambodia from mid-October to mid-November, and their impact usually diminishes as they have already released most of their energy over southern Vietnam. However, they can still bring heavy rain.
