  4. This morning we will step into the lives of the Kratie people and learn about their daily habits. Your guide will first take you to a local traditional coffee shop. Here you will get a glimpse of the differences in the lifestyles of men and women - most men often hang out at the café, while women work or shop at the market.

Afterwards, walk through the central market to visit the French colonial architecture. Then head to Wat Roka Kandal, the oldest preserved pagoda in Cambodia built in the late 18th century. The morning tour ends with an introduction to the production process of local mushrooms and bricks.

In the late afternoon, hop on a local boat into the raging Mekong River to witness Irrawaddy dolphins. They are fairly rare freshwater dolphins, with only 15-20 of them making their home on the beautiful stretch of the Mekong River. After enjoying an hour of dolphin watching, return to Kratie for a rest.

Along the way, we will stop at Kampong Cham to visit the Bamboo Bridge, which spans about 1km across the Mekong River and connects the island of Koh Pen to the west bank of Kampong Cham on the mainland. Made entirely of bamboo, it is strong and wide enough to carry a small car. Continue to Skuon, a town famous for its tarantula hunting and eating, where you will have the opportunity to taste a unique fried tarantula dish (if you are "brave" enough to try it). We will arrive in Phnom Penh around 3-5 PM.
