Itinerary
Welcome to Phnom Penh, the capital of the Kingdom of Cambodia, nestled in the Delta between the Mekong and Tonle Sap Lake. After landing, you will be transferred by the local driver and the guide to your hotel for a short rest.
In the afternoon, start your city tour with the Royal Palace as your first stop. It is a complex of traditional Khmer architectural style and religious colors, complete with splendid minarets. Then step to the Silver Pagoda, which is made of more than five thousand silver bricks. Aka the Temple of Emerald Buddha, the pagoda is a stunning Buddhist temple known for its thousands of silver bricks and a huge jade Buddha statue carved out of jadeite.

Afterwards, move to the nearby National Museum, which combines traditional Khmer architecture with French colonial style, with its herringbone roof and carved doors. Here you can see artifacts from different periods of the Angkor dynasty, including stone, bronze, porcelain, and wood.
At approximately 4:30 p.m., board a private boat to explore the Tonle Sap River, with a stunning sunset view as the backdrop.

During the dry season, from January to May each year, we will take you to visit the Bamboo Bridge, which spans the Mekong River. Continue your ride along the eastern side of the Mekong River, during which you will have many photo opportunities at local farms, fishing grounds, pagodas, and beautiful natural scenic viewpoints. Finally, arrive at Kratie to check in.

This morning we will step into the lives of the Kratie people and learn about their daily habits. Your guide will first take you to a local traditional coffee shop. Here you will get a glimpse of the differences in the lifestyles of men and women – most men often hang out at the café, while women work or shop at the market. Afterwards, walk through the central market to visit the French colonial architecture. Then head to Wat Roka Kandal, the oldest preserved pagoda in Cambodia built in the late 18th century. The morning tour ends with an introduction to the production process of local mushrooms and bricks.
In the late afternoon, hop on a local boat into the raging Mekong River to witness Irrawaddy dolphins. They are fairly rare freshwater dolphins, with only 15-20 of them making their home on the beautiful stretch of the Mekong River. After enjoying an hour of dolphin watching, return to Kratie for a rest.

Today is the day to explore the temple complex of Angkor Wat! First, you’ll be guided to Angkor Thom, with the Bayon Temple as the heart of Angkor Thom, where you can admire the reliefs of many smiling faces and nearly 40 Gothic stupas. Follow a 200-meter walkway to Baphuon Temple. Standing at the top, visitors can enjoy the surrounding verdant landscape and the classic reflection of Angkor’s historic site on the water.

Then visit Phimeanaksa, Terrace of the Elephants, and Terrace of the Leper King. Conclude your morning tour at the South Gate, where you’ll see numerous exquisite bas-reliefs.
Enjoy a hearty Khmer lunch near Srah Srang and take a nap to refresh for the afternoon tour. After that, take a guided tour to Ta Prohm, where the movie Tomb Raider was filmed. Over time, the temple was invaded by tropical trees, whose python-like roots penetrated the building, causing the internal stone towers and walls to collapse.

Kick off your afternoon exploration to Neak Pean, a stone pagoda temple with a carving of two entwined snake gods, Naga, located in the center of a large pool. Continue your tour to Preah Khan, one of the largest temples in the Angkor region.
