  1. Welcome to Phnom Penh, the capital of the Kingdom of Cambodia, nestled in the Delta between the Mekong and Tonle Sap Lake. Upon arrival, your driver will pick you up and escort you to your hotel during the designated pickup time. Once checked in, you're free to explore, wander the streets, and admire the stunning French colonial architecture.

    In the evening, you are arranged to dine at a riverside restaurant and sample Cambodian specialties.

  2. A full-day city tour will give you a taste of Phnom Penh. Our first stop is the National Museum of Cambodia, which combines traditional Khmer architecture with French colonial style, with its herringbone roof and carved doors. Here you can see artifacts from different periods of the Angkor dynasty, including stone, bronze, porcelain, and wood. Your guide then takes you to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek to explain the brutal history of the Khmer Rouge period.

    If you don't wish to visit these shocking execution sites, you can have an optional visit to Royal Palace, or Wat Phnom - a tranquil, 30-meter-high temple filled with Khmer-style relief sculptures. You can climb to the top of the pagoda to get a commanding view of the city. After all visits, relax at a riverside cafe.

  3. After breakfast, drive 7 hours (including stops) to Siem Reap. We'll stop for lunch at a country restaurant on the way. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. After a short break, have a guide-led walk to an old market where you can find hot sales of all kinds of goods such as silver, silk, cotton, and statues. It's also a foodie paradise, offering cheap and delicious street snacks.

    In the evening, enter a restaurant of your choice for dinner, and if you’re lucky, you may be able to enjoy a traditional shadow puppet show.

  4. Today is the day to explore Angkor Wat, which is the name given to the ancient ruins of Angkor, once the capital of the ancient Khmer Kingdom. Stone carvings are everywhere, especially the relief is the essence, as well as the mysterious and peaceful smiling Buddha statues, very enjoyable to watch.

    Bayon Temple is the main attraction for us, it is the center of the Angkor Thom. Here you can admire the reliefs of many smiling faces and nearly 40 Gothic stupas. Visit one of the ancient temples where you will meet Buddhist monks and experience a unique ritual - a monk ties a sacred thread around your wrist and sprinkles holy water on you, ensuring protection and good luck for the rest of your journey. After that, go to Sala Bai Hotel School for lunch.

    In the afternoon, move forward to your final destination, Ta Phrom Temple, where the movie Tomb Raider was filmed. Over time, the temple was invaded by tropical trees, whose python-like roots penetrated into the building, causing the internal stone towers and walls to collapse. Don't miss the sunset view of the temple.

    Note: Sala Bai Hotel School is closed on public and school holidays, so on those days we will have lunch at another restaurant.

  5. Take a morning tuk-tuk ride to Angkor Wat for a spectacular sunrise - the entire sandstone temple complex is gilded by the morning light (optional). Today's tour will begin at Banteay Srei Temple. It is famous for its gorgeous colors and exquisite reliefs, and is known as " the Gem of Angkorian Art".

    Late in the afternoon, take a guided tour to a village to gain insight into the daily life of Cambodians by hiking through rice fields, visiting traditional stilted houses and drinking with locals.

    In the evening, enjoy a final farewell dinner at a well-selected restaurant.

    Relax with a traditional Khmer massage.

  6. Enjoy some free time at your leisure after breakfast. And then you will be escorted to the airport for your flight home. Wish you a pleasant journey!
