  1. Welcome to our 7-day best of Cambodia tour! Be warmly greeted by Phnom Penh’s spectacular French architecture. The driver will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Have a good relaxation.

  2. Start your Cambodian tour at the Royal Palace. It was the residence of the King of Cambodia, consisting of a group of buildings with golden roofs and yellow walls, looking quite exquisite and resplendent. Step to the nearby attraction - Silver Pagoda. Made of more than five thousand silver bricks, it is one of the five most famous pagodas in the world.

    Continue your journey to the National Museum, which combines traditional Khmer architecture with French colonial style, with its herringbone roof and carved doors. Here you can see artifacts from different periods of the Angkor dynasty, including stone, bronze, porcelain and wood.

    And then visit the Independence Monument, built to commemorate Cambodia's liberation from French colonial rule. Today's last one-stop is Wat Phnom, a tranquil, 30-meter-high temple filled with Khmer-style relief sculptures. You can climb to the top of the pagoda to get a commanding view of the city.

  3. After breakfast, say goodbye to Phnom Penh and head west to Battambang, Cambodia's second-largest city. On the way, we'll pass Kampong Chhnang, the fourth largest city in Cambodia, abounding in porcelain.

    Continue your journey to Kampong Luong, a large floating village on Tonle Sap Lake, where we take a boat trip to see the houses, churches, and schools on the water and learn about local life.

    After that, disembark and drive to Krong Pursat for lunch (at your own expense) and arrive in Battambang in the late afternoon.

  4. Rich in rice and fruit, Battambang is a riverside city with many elegant French colonial buildings. Take a walk in the countryside in Wat Koh District around Battambang to get an insight into rural life in Cambodia by learning about fruit growing and how to get sugar from palm trees.

    Hop on a bamboo train running through fields, across rickety bridges, and through rolling bushes back to Battambang. Then visit Phnom Banan, a hill about 400 meters high, topped by Prasat Banan, the best-preserved temple in Battambang from the Angkor period. Visitors need to climb 358 stone steps to get to the temple. So get ready to sweat!

    End today's tour at Phnom Sampov Mountain. Every time around 6:00 p.m., millions of bats will fly out of the cave, looking extremely spectacular. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can get a panoramic view of Battambang city. After that, drive back to Battambang.

  5. After breakfast, drive to Siem Reap. Your guide will show you around Banteay Srei first. Known as "the Gem of Angkorian Art", this temple is the birthplace of Khmer classical-style architecture, famous for its bas-relief carved on rose-colored sandstone walls.

    Then head out for Ta Prohm Temple - aka Jungle Temple with the roots of the trees growing through its structures; Prasat Kravan - a Hindu temple featuring various styles of brick carvings; Srah Srang - a place where bathing ceremonies are held; and Banteay Kdei - surrounded by four concentric walls, creating a fairly peaceful environment.

    After all visits, enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant and enjoy a traditional Apsara, a royal dance performance known for elegant gestures and colorful costumes.

  6. Today is the day to explore the wonder of the world, Angkor Wat. You'll be arranged to the Ta Kav Gate, the west gate of Angkor Thom, mostly unvisited by tourists. Then move forward to the south gate of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Khmer Empire. Actually, it's a temple structure with the Bayon Temple being the most famous.

    Other attractions to visit next include Baphuon Temple, The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, The Elephant Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King.

    Afternoon, take a guided tour to uncover the mysteries of Angkor Wat, a World Cultural Heritage. Known as the National Treasure of Cambodia, it is the largest religious monument in the world and the earliest Khmer-style architecture in Cambodia. Stone carvings are everywhere, especially the relief is the essence, as well as the mysterious and peaceful smiling Buddha statues, very enjoyable to watch.
