This tour will be an extraordinary exploration from the world heritage site of Angkor Wat to the island of Koh Rong Samleom. Your experienced guide will take you from Siem Reap via Tonle Sap Lake (boat trip), Battambang (bamboo train experience), to Kompot and Kep on the south coast of Cambodia, where you will visit Salt Pan, Rabbit Island, and Pepper Plantation. Transfer to the beach of Koh Rong Samleom for relaxation and snorkeling, and end the adventure with a city tour in the capital, Phnom Penh.

  1. Upon landing at the airport, you will be greeted at the exit by your guide with a sign with your name on it. Then you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Cambodia's past in the city.

  2. Today is the day to explore Angkor Remain. First, you'll be guided to the South Gate of Angkor Thom, where you'll see four giant faces. Bayon Temple, the heart of Angkor Thom, is where you can find the famous carving of the "Khmer Smile". Follow a 200-meter walkway to Baphuon Temple. Standing at the top, you can enjoy the surrounding verdant landscape and the classic reflection of Angkor's historic site on the water. Then visit Phimeanaksa, Terrace of the Elephants, and Terrace of the Leper King.

    Conclude your morning tour at Ta Prohm Temple, which offers a spectacle of huge tree roots entwining the temple building.

    After lunch, take on a tour of Angkor Wat, the heart of the Angkor complex. Known as the National Treasure of Cambodia, it is the largest religious monument in the world and the earliest Khmer-style architecture in Cambodia. Visitors can see huge stone carvings and exquisite reliefs everywhere, and gain an insight into its history and legends. Don't miss the spectacular sunset at Pre Rup Temple.

  3. Today, you will travel to the countryside to experience a bullock cart adventure and visit the local vegetable gardens and vast rice fields. Sample fresh coconut milk and a variety of tropical fruits. Followed by tasting different flavors of Liqueur at the Cambodian Liqueur workshop is to visit various exquisite handicraft and silk products at the best Angkor wood/stone carving center. Finally, wander around the old local market.

    In the afternoon, head to Kompong Phluk, the largest floating village in the region, where we have a leisurely boat trip to catch a glimpse of the daily life of the locals on the water. Continue your trip on a canoe through the beautiful mangrove forest where you have the opportunity to see water birds and monkeys. Then return to the regular boat for a view of Tonle Sap Lake.

    After a delicious dinner at Grill Wine Café, you'll be transferred to watch the unique Phare Cambodia Circus Show - the most acclaimed evening entertainment in Siem Reap including drama, dance, live music, and circus.

    Note: During your trip, if the water level in Kompong Phluk is low, we alternatively visit Chong Kneas Floating Village instead of Kompong Phluk. In Chong Kneas, you will not be arranged to enjoy the mangrove forest by canoe.

  4. Today, we will proceed to Battambang. Midway we will stop to visit Puok Silk Farm where you will learn the full process of sericulture, as well as the cultivation of mulberry trees and the production of silk products.

    After a guided check-in, you will be led to visit Wat Ek Phnom, a partially collapsed 11th-century temple that still retains its fine bas-reliefs. Continue your journey to Phnom Sampov, where you can hike or ride a motorcycle (for an additional fee) up the mountain for a spectacular sunset. You will also see millions of bats flying out of the cave at that time. In the evening, head to a select local restaurant for dinner.

  5. After breakfast at the hotel, hop on a bamboo train running through fields, across rickety bridges, and through rolling bushes back to Battambang. Then visit the Fermented Fish Market, watch the making of rice paper, taste Cambodian rice wine and learn how it is made.

    After that, return to your hotel and have dinner. Pack your luggage and drive about 7 hours to Kampot, the largest port city in the 19th century, famous for producing the best pepper in the country.

  6. Depart in the morning for Crab Market, a market whose atmosphere is always bustling from morning to night, offering the freshest crab and seafood in Cambodia. Then hike 8km through the forest in Kep National Park, where you can listen to the beautiful "song" of birds, encounter wild monkeys, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, and take pictures of the beautiful nature.

    Afterwards, head to Kep pier for a 45-minute boat ride to Rabbit Island, a peaceful beach island with swaying palm trees and sun loungers. Enjoy free time - sunbathing, swimming, and short hikes to discover the island's exotic plants. After the tour, sail back to Kep and return to Kampot.

  7. Drive past the rice fields to Phnom Chhnork, a limestone cave that houses a small, seventh-century brick temple. Walk down 203 steps into the cave to visit this Pre-Angkorian (before 802 CE) temple. Afterwards, Learn about the entire process of growing, drying, and processing peppers and the interesting stories of peppers throughout Cambodia at Sothy's Pepper Farm. Then drive to see Cambodia's only salt pan. After that, go back to the hotel for lunch and rest.

    In the evening, enjoy a private boat ride on the Kampot River to watch the beautiful sunset slowly set hidden behind the mountain ridges.

  8. Enjoy some free time in the morning. Then we drive from Kampot to Sihanoukville Port for a 1-hour speedboat ride to Koh Rong Samloem, a pristine island with mountains to the north and south, sandy beaches to the east and west, and a natural heart-shaped harbor to the east, making it an excellent choice for a vacation.

    Note: Your guide and driver will say goodbye to you after you land on the island.

  9. Today is yours at leisure. Koh Rong Samloem Island is not as crowded as Koh Rong Island, without the noise and pomp. During the day, you can walk barefoot on the beach and enjoy snorkeling, while at night, you can enjoy the plankton glowing with light blue fluorescence.

  10. You are free to schedule your activities until 1:00 pm today - enjoy swimming, sunbathing...

    Then proceed to the pier to return to Sihanoukville by speedboat. Upon arrival, your driver will pick you up and take you to Giant Ibis Bus Station for your bus to Phnom Penh, the capital of the Kingdom of Cambodia, nestled in the Delta between the Mekong and Tonle Sap Lake.

    A local driver will escort you to your hotel for check-in.

  11. Independent Monument is the first attraction we visited today. Then we come to the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, once a concentration camp during the Khmer Rouge regime. There is a stupa, housing skulls excavated from tombs in memory of innocent souls. A visit to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum will give you further insight into the brutal past of the Khmer Rouge.

    In the afternoon, take a guided tour of the National Museum of Cambodia. It combines traditional Khmer architecture with French colonial style, with its herringbone roof and carved doors. Here you can see artifacts from different periods of the Angkor dynasty, including stone, bronze, porcelain, and wood. Next, go to visit Wat Phnom, a tranquil, 30-meter-high temple filled with Khmer-style relief sculptures.

    Enjoy a leisurely boat trip along the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers at approximately 4:30 pm, savoring a welcome cocktail and taking in the stunning sunset views. Your dinner will be served on board. At the end of the day, transfer back to your hotel.
