Afterward, enjoy a cruise on Tonle Sap Lake and visit the famous Kompong Phluk Floating Village. Finally, you have the option to get up close with elephants in Kulen Elephant Forest.

Welcome to Siem Reap for our 4-day trip to Cambodia! When you arrive at Siem Reap International Airport, our local tour guide and driver will pick you up with a welcome sign bearing your name. Then you will be escorted to the hotel for check-in.

You are completely free for the rest of today, and you can explore Cambodia’s second largest city at your own pace. Our guide is happy to provide advice based on your interests.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken to the highlight of this trip – the world-famous Angkor Wat. Listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, it is the largest temple style building in the world and also the earliest Khmer style architecture in the world. Our expert tour guide will take you on a deep understanding of how it was discovered and built.

Continue your Angkor Wat tour package to Banteay Kdai, built in the mid-12th to 13th century AD. It is not just a Buddhist temple. Legend has it that the king and queen once rested here after swimming in the royal bath opposite the temple. The carvings and architectural style inside the temple reflect the cultural and artistic achievements of the Khmer Empire. ‌‌

After that, be transferred to visit the Victory Gate, a grand entrance (northeast) to Angkor Thom, the ancient city. Walk along the Terrace of the Leper King and admire its exquisite carvings. Baphuon Temple, one of the largest and most complex three-dimensional buildings in the world, will be our next stop. The carvings of this temple are very delicate, with towers in the center and corners of the four sides of the corridor, which are worth savoring carefully.

Enter the magnificent Angkor Thom, an ancient walled city. Bayon Temple, located in the center of the city, consists of 49 high towers, plus 5 on the city gate, totaling 54 stone towers, symbolizing the 54 provinces of the Angkor Dynasty at that time. The four sides of each tower represent four expressions: joy, anger, sadness, and happiness. There are a total of 216 Buddha statues with different expressions, which are known as the “Khmer Smile”

Finally, we will visit Ta Prohm Temple. Here, there is a unique fusion of nature and architecture. This temple is famous for its striking tree roots surrounding stone buildings.

After the visit, we will return to your hotel to rest well.

This morning, we will drive to Banteay Srei Temple, which is 35 kilometers away from Angkor Thom. It is famous for its small and exquisite architectural style, known as the “pearl of Angkor Wat”. As you explore, you will be drawn to the reliefs on pink sandstone that tell stories of Hindu mythology. After the visit, enjoy lunch.

In the afternoon, you will experience a boat ride on Lake Tonle Sap. Keep your eyes wide, perhaps you will encounter various birds in this area. Our boat will take us to Kompong Phluk Floating Village.

The houses here are all built on stilts above the water. You will gain a deeper understanding of the traditional way of life of local villagers. There is a magnificent temple in the village where you can catch a glimpse of its appearance. After finishing, we will return to our hotel in Siem Reap to relax.

Today, you can choose to get up close with elephants at Kulen Elephant Forest (at your own expense). Covering a vast area, this place provides an ideal habitat for elephants and other wildlife.

You will first get an introduction to elephants, understand their behavior, and the work of protecting them. Afterward, you have the opportunity to take a walk in the forest with the elephant, feed the elephant, or bath the elephants.

If you choose not to participate in this optional activity, you can enjoy a leisurely morning exploring the local market at your own pace, or relax in the swimming pool at your hotel.
